Akima Gives

Akima Gives is a philanthropic organization committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life within the NANA region of Alaska, the ancestral home of the Iñupiaq in the northwest part of the state. Our vision is to see a thriving NANA region where Iñupiat traditions are preserved, opportunities are ample, and communities are resilient. Our mission revolves around fostering education, cultural revitalization, and healthy communities through a collective and coordinated effort that involves generous contributions from individuals and corporate partners. Akima Gives was founded in 2024 by Akima, a subsidiary of the Iñupiat-owned NANA corporation. Thanks to Akima’s generous funding of all overhead costs, Akima Gives is able to ensure that 100% of all donations go directly to our Iñupiaq beneficiaries.
