Sexual Harassment is when an employer or co-worker makes sexual advances, touches, or engages in other inappropriate behavior such as viewing pornography, cursing, sexual jokes, and the like. The firm also represents victims of employment discrimination. State and federal law prohibits employers, supervisors and managers from discriminating against workers due to their age, race, creed, color, national origin, gender, disability, marital status, partnership status, sexual orientation, alienage or citizenship. Employment discrimination may come in the form of unequal pay, job denial, lack of promotion, wrongful termination and other actions. Minimum wage/overtime. The firm also represents employees / workers that are denied the proper pay. Employers have a responsibility to be aware of minimum wage laws and to provide their employees with adequate wages. If your pay is below minimum wage, you may take legal action to recover the difference between your wages and the minimum allowed per state and federal law.
