Akiro Protech manufactures unidirectional tape, fabrics and prepregs using ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, para aramid, and other high performance fibers targeted at the aerospace and defence markets. We are a new generation armour material specialist, operating from a new modern secure manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India. Our promoters have over 40 years experience in design, development and manufacture of high performance fibers, fabrics and UD using high performance yarn. Our unrivalled experience, anti-ballistics understanding and one of the largest material production capacity in the World allows us to assist armor product manufacturers in achieving lighter, better protected and lower cost products. Our highly experienced design Engineers assist in modifying designs by allowing the customers to choose from a wider variety of fabrics and UD than available elsewhere.
