Akova Co. Ltd. was found by Fikret Akova in 1991 in Balikesir Burhaniye and started its business with an oil station. Since Mr. Akova is a civil engineer, he also completed several construction projects such as Afsin-Elbistan Thermal Power Plant Unit B Machinery & Equipment building and Balcova Viaducts in Izmir-Aydin Highway. The company was not actively on business between 2004 and 2014. By starting with Fabrika Bahce Evleri in Burhaniye, company has been reactivated. Apart from construction, company can serve as project consultant including project management. In addition, company has entered geothermal energy sector and completed geological surveys in Balikesir region.
