Akuntansi NPC is designed to help students from underprivileged schools to develop accounting skills, gain confidence in their accounting abilities, increase their enjoyment of accounting and in the long-term, help students to pass accounting at all levels and assist in courses at tertiary level.
Our training material is made available to as many underprivileged children as possible via hard copies, soft copies, or E-learning solutions (via internet).
The training material is compiled by a team of volunteer teachers as well as business and accounting professionals in order to give the learners the most comprehensive support in their accounting studies.
During school holidays we have partnered with businesses to grant job shadowing opportunities for students that are interested in the accounting, tax or entrepreneurial fields as part of the career options. This opportunity grants learners firsthand experience into the world of accounting related careers.
We have joined with multiple business partners whose primary focus is fostering the personal development and growth of high school youth through mentorship. Monthly meetings with students are held in order to lay the foundation for positive esteem-building, career planning, and goal-setting.
When Covid-19 struck our country and schools had to close due to the national lock-down not all students were fortunate enough to continue classes via internet sessions. Many students are now behind on classes with limited time and resources to fill the gap left by the events. There is an increasing demand for extra resources to support the students with their studies.
We believe that the goal of our project will be sustainable because unfortunately there will always be underprivileged students that cannot afford additional classes and training material. It is our goal to ensure that we can assist as many students as possible and give them a better opportunity to pursue any career.
