About Al Malika : She is an old classic wooden sailing Yacht (33ft McGruer Sloop Classic Wooden Boat) that was gifted to HM Sultan Khalifa Bin Haroub - (Sultan of Zanzibar August 26, 1879 – October 9, 1960) by HM King George V (King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India) in 1933. It was possibly one of the last Yachts to be designed by Ewing McGruer Junior. Al Malika is a 32 fr 5 " overall length sloop built to the highest standards and with the best materials that money could buy. The Yacht is known to have been used personally by Late Sultan Khalifa Bin Harub for many years. Al Malika Maritime Projects LLC is the legal Guardian of the upcoming Yacht restoration project in Oman. Restoration work about to start soon in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. More news to follow soon.
