Al Thail Group was promoted by Founder and Group Chairman Mr Ibrahim Abdul Rahim, a visionary and driving force behind the growth of Al Thail Group of Companies. Al Thail Group has a strong presence in Sultanate of Oman and UAE and also set its footprints in other GCC countries as well. Al Thail Group commenced its operations as a small scrap trading enterprise in 1998. The Group is engaged in Recycling various Waste Materials especially Ferrous and Non Ferrous Metal Scraps, Plastic, Rubber Wastes etc. The Group has its vision to create a sustainable and environmental-friendly future for residents of Oman by recycling waste and promoting a circular economy through responsible waste management, working in close coordination with regulatory authorities. There are nine business verticals in its group each of which has its own niche area of operations. Al Thail Metal Recycling has set up its Used Lead Acid Batteries (ULAB) Recycling plant which has commenced its commercial operations in early 2023.
