This profile is managed by the volunteers of the ALAI Club (Augmented Learning Artificial Intelligence Club) at Saudi Electronic University. Who are we? We are a dynamic group of passionate and forward-thinking students committed to advancing the field of Artificial Intelligence. Our club brings together talents from diverse academic backgrounds to foster a culture of learning, innovation, and research. We aim to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to become pioneers in the AI landscape and contributors to Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey. Our Vision: To educate and develop student capabilities in Artificial Intelligence, preparing a specialized and qualified generation capable of driving scientific and technological innovation for the Kingdom. Our Mission: To raise awareness and develop AI skills through education, research, innovation, and competitions, supporting the Kingdom’s digital transformation and contributing to Vision 2030. What we do: 1. Awareness and Education: We host talks, panels, and campaigns that highlight the significance of AI in today’s world, aiming to build a solid foundation of AI awareness across the student community. 2. Workshops and Study Groups: Our hands-on workshops and focused study sessions offer practical exposure to various AI disciplines, encouraging students to dive deep into topics such as machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. 3. Research and Innovation: We encourage student-led research and innovation projects that address real-world problems using AI solutions. Through mentorship and guidance, we aim to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical impact. 4. Competitions and Hackathons: We prepare and support our members to actively participate in AI-focused competitions and hackathons, fostering a spirit of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
