Alan Turing Foundation accepts donations of desktop and mobile computers from individuals, state institutions and private companies across Bulgaria. In most cases those computers are in good working order and are periodically replaced with a new ones by its owners, but it is still up to date and fully usable. With the donated computers our volunteers respond to the needs of homes for children, schools and community centres that do not have the opportunity to buy their own equipment. The donors of the foundation provide the opportunity for many children to acquire computer literacy and reach the information available on the Internet. Computer literacy will give an equal start to all these children once they become adults and start building their careers.
