About The James A. and Marian Hart Aland Foundation

Our primary mission is to enhance the education in our community. We are a non-profit founded to support public education in Davis and Weber county Utah. Namely Weber State University and extensions, Davis and Weber School District. Through donation campaigns and fundraising efforts we are helping to establish patterns of charitable giving and service to public education for generations to come. 100% of your contributions will benefit the students and young people of Weber and Davis county, Utah. It’s important to support your local community along with large national and worldwide causes. Students and youth represent your neighborhoods, community and state success well into the future. James and Marian Aland spent a lifetime improving communities and building lasting amenities for Weber and Davis counties. He donated hundreds of acres of real estate to wildlife conservation, school sites, churches sites, city roads and parks. He was determined in his efforts to build communities and established a charitable foundation to serve generations to come. The Aland Foundation sponsors events every year including their own annual fundraiser tournament for the Weber State University 'Catapult Completion Scholarship. This is a four person scramble at Crane Field Golf Course in Clinton, Utah.
