Al Asbah Group

Al Asbah Group is a family run group of companies based in Palestine and Jordan. The group was founded in Ramallah – Palestine. Over the last few decades the group has expanded on the hands of 3 generations of the Asbah Family. Today, Asbah group includes 8 companies between Palestine and Jordan and employees approximately 200 employees in both countries. The group started in Palestine in the 1960s as a small general trading company in Ramallah by the founder Shafiq Asbah. In the 1980’s Shafiq’s sons, Jamal & Salamah started to expand on the business by adding Asbah Transport Company. In the 1990s the brothers added 3 main companies to the portfolio, a cement transportation company, Volvo Trucks brand in Palestine and Golden Gas Company. In the 2000s they branched into Jordan where they acquired the Volvo Trucks dealership and added Asbah Cement Transportation Company. Lastly, when the third generation of the Asbah family joined the group, few more businesses were added like Volvo Buses in Palestine & Jordan, plus the specialization in the aviation industry within Jordan.
