Al Bashayer Meat Company SAOC a closed joint stock company, was constituted in 2016, with the vision to become an Omani Trusted Meat Supplier. The strategy of the company is to build an integrated red meat project which depends on importing Live Animals from various sources, fatten them, slaughter them in in a ‘state of the art’ abattoir and prepare the meat for distribution into the different market segments including potential export markets. Besides the Main Meat Product Stream, ABMC will be pursuing value add production of the 5th quarter, to ensure maximum utilization of the animal and therefore, increase sustainability and contributing to the Oman Food Security Vision.
