“Albastru și Origini” is a village within a village.
At the foothill of the Cozia mountains, we relocated 4 cottages, over 150 years old and a barn that became the hearth and home of the village: the place where our guests gather around the table for stories, gourmet experiences and meaningful events.
Building the village was an initiatory journey for us, a journey of self-discovery, a desire to celebrate our roots. It’s an eclectic place, where we put the grandmother's dowry chests together with oak cupboards from the antique markets in France or decorations made by young artists, which we wanted to support and encourage.
Therefore, we brought to life a vivid place that grows as we do. A place where seekers of beauty and peace, like us, will find the authentic setting for intimate events that tell a story… or simply the place where they will take their time to look inside themselves.
Food: Our menu is formed of only a few dishes that constantly change with the season. We only slow cook our food, with local fresh ingredients from farmers we know and respect. Our recipes were learned from chefs, grandmothers or other food enthousiasts.
Drinks: The selection of wines and spirits has been made with so much care so that you may taste a little bit of France, have a walk in Italy's vineyards or sense the freshness of romanian grapes.
Experiences: Rich in so many ways, the Cozia mountains will embrace us on E-bikes, oak forest walks, yoga sessions, outdoor fitness, cascade visits, SUP's in the old Olt river.
