Albemarle County’s Economic Development Office is anxious to help you start your business and to support you with a range of services and programs and is here . Our goal is to connect existing businesses with the information, resources and programs that will help them thrive and grow. With that in mind, we assist with all stages of the business development process: permitting processes, finding funding sources, marketing and business plans, connecting business owners to workforce services and training resources, and we are happy to help county business owners find their way through any issues or questions that may come up.
