The Albertsons Companies PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency program provides a wide array of opportunities to ensure your professional development in community pharmacy. Our experienced community practice sites provide an ever-expanding scope of patient care services, including patient-centered medication dispensing, medication therapy management, chronic condition management, routine and travel immunizations, specialty medication administration, point-of-care testing, and wellness services. A dedicated team of preceptors oversee each resident's successful completion of learning objectives. Research, teaching, and clinic experiences are also supported by the university partner. The resident's exposure to corporate training programs, meetings, and projects with leadership further develop management and leadership skills.
