ALCLA Native Plants

ALCLA Native Plants is a nursery operating in Treaty 7 Territory and Metis District 4, Alberta, that has promoted native plants since 1992. We carry plants and seeds for over 150 species of grasses, shrubs, and wildflowers native to Alberta. We regionally source our seed to preserve genetic diversity and ensure climate tolerance for the Southern Alberta area. Educational services, custom seed collection, and contract growing are also available. We supply plants for home gardens, schoolyard naturalization, prairie restoration projects, and more. Planting native plants is the best way to support declining wildlife populations including native birds, bees, and butterflies.
