Our team has invested in and operated more than a dozen small-and-mid sized businesses across a variety of industries including aerospace, health care, real estate, manufacturing, industrial supplies, consumer products, services, and retail.

The founders of Alcorn are the largest investors in every business we acquire or partner with, and our capital base is unique in this space – both in terms of how much we are looking to invest (over $250 million) and how flexible we can be in our approach. Importantly, our approach is very different than typical private investment firms in this space since we are neither interested in owning businesses for short periods of time nor do we need to raise capital for each investment. In fact, our capital is fully committed, readily available, and we want to find businesses we can own and build for up to 20 years.
