Alera Labs is a contract analytical testing laboratory providing analytical and pre-formulation support to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and agricultural (agbio) companies. Alera Labs was founded in 2010 after realization that most larger contract laboratories are not able to accommodate the needs of the small startup companies requiring faster response times and operating with much smaller budgets. Services include: - Development of analytical methods for analysis of chemical matrices requiring advanced levels of difficulty, e.g. absence of UV-Vis chromophores, extensive matrix interference, etc. - Investigational studies involving structure elucidation of unknown degradation products/impurities requiring advanced techniques (e.g. LC-MS, LC-MS/MS) - Bioanalytical testing using LC-MS/MS - Validation of analytical methods - Developmental stability studies - Biomarker analysis and assay development services - Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry (GC, GC-MS) - HPLC testing
