ALEXANDMUSHI is a collaboration between artists: Alex Nichols and Mushi Wooseong James. They deconstruct and examine the core communication forms occurring in our daily lives.
ALEXANDMUSHI have exhibited in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, and are recent recipients of the Djerassi Artist Residency 2020. They have also participated in Taiwan and Mexico. They have been invited as Special Programming for the Affordable Art Fair in Singapore. Represented by MODERNISM INC in San Francisco and Siger Gallery in the UK. Institutionally, they have worked with MOCA Taipei, Bamboo Curtain Studio, Recology SF, Chinese Culture Centre SF, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture SF, University of San Francisco, Zonamaco Art Fair, MACO Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca, Centro Fotográfico Álvarez Bravo Oaxaca, AIASF (American Institute of Architects), and AAA (American Anthropological Association).
