Alfred Brown are weavers of fine quality worsted cloth in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We are one of the few remaining Yorkshire Mills with bulk production. We trade on a reputation for quality, value, honesty and excellent service. Founder Herbert Brown created the original company Brown & Sons (Bramley) in 1915. Today the company is managed by fourth generation family members, Joint Managing Directors Ian and Nigel Brown and Sales Director, Roger McArdle. We weave and supply fabrics for Menswear and Ladieswear to retailers, tailors and cloth merchants worldwide, in Pure New Wool, Wool with Cashmere, Wool with Mohair, Lycra and Polyester Wool Blends. The Company has always invested in technological innovation, our production continues to benefit from our investment in state of the art machinery. The name Alfred Brown is recognised as a very British brand in the UK, Europe, US and Japanese markets.
