Algae Health Sciences, Inc. (AlgaeHealth) is a subsidiary of BGG, a global leader in clinically-supported natural ingredients for the dietary supplement, cosmetics, and food & beverage industries. AlgaeHealth was created to focus exclusively on efficacious raw materials sourced from micro- and macro-algae species.

AlgaeHealth utilizes many aspects of the BGG staff and facilities, particularly in the areas of quality & regulatory as well as research & development. AlgaeHealth’s first product is AstaZine® Natural Astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae which we have been producing since 2006. In 2013, after mastering the art of Haematococcus production, we expanded our Astaxanthin farm and now have the second largest Natural Astaxanthin capacity in the world. In 2016 we launched the world’s first (and only) Certified Organic Astaxanthin product, our 5% Natural Astaxanthin powder, after obtaining certification from Ecocert, a French-based leading organic certifier. In 2016, we initiated our first human clinical trial on AstaZine® and have budgeted to do a minimum of one to two clinical studies each year moving forward.
