Our mission is to improve the health of individuals and the environment by eradicating the use of toxic chemical flame retardants and support a more sustainable future. We are making a non-toxic, bio-based flame retardant that will not impact human health or the environment. Our solution is made from renewable resources and nanotechnology. Co-founders Elias, Anneke, Tessah and Abby had a goal to make a positive impact on the environment by creating a non-toxic flame retardant made from renewable resources. Flame retardants have been used for decades and are an essential part of fire safety but all flame retardants currently on the market are toxic to human health and the environment, causing brain development issues, cancer and contributing to climate change. Many of the chemical flame retardants become banned by government regulation resulting in a financial loss for companies using them. Our solution is a non-toxic flame retardant and would be the first on the market made from renewable resources and nanotechnology. To date, we have a working prototype that effectively prohibits flames. Our goal is to keep you and your family safe from fire, without impacting your health or the health of our planet.
