ALGOBIOTECH Tunisia (ABT) is an eco-friendly Spirulina farm located in an arid area in the centre of Tunisia. We produce our Spirulina in a very clean environment far from cities, highways and airports and we use groundwater under strict quality control of all the production steps. Our unit is based on a closed production system where every component of the cultivation process is recycled without any discharge to the environment. We use raceway ponds to grow our spirulina under natural conditions and long paddlewheels to mix water and oxygenate Spirulina for optimal growth conditions. We provide the local market with Spirulina Based products and we are developing new formulas to improve the integration of Spirulina in the usual diet of local consumers.
