AlgoBoost is a student-led society at the University of St Andrews dedicated to helping students build strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and technical problem-solving. Born from the rebranding of the Competitive Programming Society (CPSTA) in 2025, AlgoBoost expands beyond competitive coding to focus on technical interview preparation, industry insight, and collaborative learning.
We host weekly DSA Talks, group problem-solving sessions, and occasionnal competioitons to prepare our members for coding interviews, internships, and roles in top tech companies. Our events are open to all levels.
