AlgoTrade Hackathon

Europe's leading hackathon dedicated to algorithmic trading and quantitative finance. We unite top students from prestigious universities with industry leaders to innovate cutting-edge trading strategies, solve real-world challenges in high-frequency trading environments, shape the future of trading technology through collaboration and competition. Structure of AlgoTrade consists of educational and competitive phase. Educational Phase: -Five-day lectures -Led by top industry experts. -Students enhance their knowledge and gain competencies necessary to tackle real-world challenges. Competitive Phase: -24-hour hackathon: -Teams tackle a challenging task that's simple to understand but extremely difficult to solve optimally. -Solutions are developed and presented to an expert jury. Started in 2023. by FK and X.FER, now continued by X.FER and EESTEC LC Zagreb two non-profit student organizations.
