General Contractor of commercial construction projects ($1-30M) throughout North Carolina utilizing the importance of environmental awareness and sustainable building practices within the construction industry.
These projects have involved adaptive reuse, retail, hospitality, multifamily, corporate, industrial, historic renovation, subdivision development, and mixed-use.
As the Owner/Project Manager my involvement encompasses:
- Coordinating with local, state, and national governmental agencies to ensure workmanship compliance with building codes and permitting.
- Establishing professional working relationships with owners/developers, architects, engineers, inspectors and subcontractors
- Directing day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
- Minimizing additional construction costs due to the implementation of cost-effective advanced systems, methods and monitoring
- Ensuring project success including safety, schedule, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction
- Inspecting the work and operation of subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety by carrying out onsite quality inspections
- Administering contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, etc.
- Providing summary reports — monitoring and documenting all changes in schedule.
