Ali Rashid Foundation is the brainchild of a group of philanthropists, hailing from Karachi; all of them successful individuals in their own respective professional and personal circles; with one common goal – to establish mechanisms that allow the marginalized sections of the society easier access to quality education and health. The Ali Rashid Foundation is founded to take initiatives for providing education to under privileged children and adults by establishing schools, colleges, coaching and training centers. It works on enhancing the teaching infrastructure and develop human resources through sessions, workshops and trainings on Life Skills Education for the less privileged students of Pakistan. The founder and president of Ali Rashid Foundation, Mr. Ali Rashid, has long been associated with anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting initiatives in Pakistan. He has been crucial to strengthening the legislation surrounding Intellectual Property Rights in Pakistan. Piracy, infringement and counterfeiting all are the root cause of many evils in the society. Ali Rashid Foundation takes on the responsibility to plan, develop, establish, and implement schemes, ways, measures and means to deal with and eradicate the menace of counterfeiting and infringement of products, books, materials, brands, and all forms of intellectual property - affecting the society, consumers, traders - resulting in loss to the exchequer by imparting knowledge through seminars, libraries and magazines.
