All Set

We design user experiences in the real world. Israel has the world's largest gap between excellent user experience on screens and poor user experience in physical spaces. The Israeli startup and high-tech narrative has oriented our collective mindset toward the digital realm. The absurdity is that this very success – combined with a cultural tendency toward improvisation – has led us to neglect our physical environment, which remains chaotic. Designing user experience in physical space includes signage, various wayfinding tools, supportive environmental graphics, and sometimes even full architectural planning. But beyond all that, it is about something deeper and more fundamental: building a methodology. That means creating systems that make spaces intuitive and memorable even before signage – for example, through naming and spatial branding. אנחנו מתכננים חוויית משתמש בעולם האמיתי. בישראל קיים הפער הגדול ביותר בעולם בין חוויית משתמש מצוינת במסכים לבין חוויית משתמש גרועה במרחב הפיזי. הנרטיב הישראלי של הסטארט־אפ וההייטק מכוון את התודעה הקולקטיבית שלנו לעולמות הדיגיטל. האבסורד הוא שדווקא ההצלחה בתחום הזה – בשילוב עם נטייה לאלתור – גרמה לנו להזניח את הסביבה הפיזית הישראלית, שנותרה כאוטית. תכנון חוויית משתמש במרחב הפיזי כולל שילוט, אמצעי חיווי שונים, גרפיקה סביבתית תומכת, ולעיתים אף תכנון אדריכלי ממש. אבל מעבר לכל אלה, מדובר בתכנון של דבר עמוק ויסודי יותר: בניית מתודולוגיה. כלומר, שיטות שהופכות מקומות למובנים וזכירים – עוד לפני שלב השילוט. למשל, באמצעות שיום ומיתוג מרחבי.
