It can be used to manage chronic and acute wounds. Absorbent foam retains exudate surrounded by gentle soft silicone adhesive. Five-layer construction is waterproof and provides a moist balance environment to promote optimal healing. In clinical studies, soft silicone contact layer is tacky to the touch. It does not stick to the moist wound bed, but will adhere gently to the surrounding skin. silicone foam dressings have been shown to lift fluid vertically with no lateral movement of exudate from the wound onto the surrounding skin. Silicone Scar Sheets ALL GOOODA™ Medical Grade Silicone Scar Sheets is a self-adherent soft silicone sheet designed for reduction of old/new hypertrophic and keloid scars, including redness, itching and discomfort of the skin. It also works as prophylactic therapy on closed wounds which may prevent the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars. Silicone gel scar sheets should only be used on close wounds to reduce or prevent hypertrophic and keloid scarring. It has been reported to be effective and produce 86% reduction in texture, 84% in color and 68% in height of scars.
