Alliance Seed was established in 2009 as a joint venture seed company which evaluates, markets, distributes, and sells cereal, pulse, and oilseed genetics. Alliance Seeds ownership includes century old Canadian owned grain handlers Paterson Grain and Parrish & Heimbecker, as well as farmer owned grain company, Northwest Terminal. This unique ownership makes Alliance Seed part of a family of vertically integrated, value-added agribusiness that includes crop input retailers, grain handlers, grain trading and merchandising services, transportation, grain milling, animal feed and nutrition, organic products, consumer food products and specialty alcohols.
