The Alliance Steering Group is committed to improving value, reducing risks and achieving net zero targets through collaborative procurement and contracting. Its members comprise leading construction industry professionals working with the Association of Consultant Architects and King’s College London Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution to promote and develop best practice using the FAC-1, TAC-1 and PPC2000 collaborative forms of contract. These contracts have been adopted on over £100 billion of procurements with impressive results and very few disputes.
Our objectives are to increase understanding and adoption of the FAC-1, TAC-1 and PPC2000 contracts and to provide a forum for advice, support and shared experience through case studies, guidance and live events. The Alliance Steering Group pioneers new initiatives in construction best practice to improve building quality and safety, to support digital information management and to achieve net zero carbon targets. Its members have extensive experience of early supply chain involvement, modern methods of construction, collaborative delivery of projects and programmes of work, joint risk management and alternative dispute resolution.
