Allie Duncan is an award-winning publicist with an emphasis on consumer public relations. As the founder of Allison P. Duncan, LLC, she’s responsible for her clients' ongoing media relations initiatives and for implementing media strategies on a local, regional, national and global scale in the context of fully integrated marketing campaigns. Prior to Allison P. Duncan, LLC, Allie was an account supervisor at Zapwater Communications, a boutique agency headquartered in Chicago, serving as the senior engagement lead on a variety of lifestyle accounts. She started her career as the assistant PR manager for Bloomingdale’s, where she maintained the in-house public relations office and executed more than 350 incremental sales-driving events per year. Allie is also a freelance journalist and covers culture, entertainment, lifestyle, interior design, beauty, women’s issues and more. She regularly contributes to publications like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Architectural Digest, New York magazine, InStyle, Glamour, and others and is the style editor for Sheridan Road magazine, a regional publication in the Chicago market.
