Al Midan is a non-governmental organization, established in Lebanon in 2004. It aims to develop the Lebanese society by engaging its citizens to play a positive role in their communities. We handle a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives by partnering with local communities, NGOs, international organizations, donors, governments, and leading businesses. Our NGO embraces the public-private partnership program to build capacities, create opportunities, transfer knowledge & conceptual congruence. To ensure accountability, Al Midan has set Ethical Standards of Transparency on all of its programs using key monitoring and evaluation indicators, both qualitative and quantitative. Our fields of intervention include humanitarian, cultural, educational, social, and environmental projects and programs.
Since the beginning, Al Midan has adamant in reaching sustainable development and ensuring that the impact of its projects is durable. The 2015 Paris Accords on environment ignited our passion to integrate and actively participate in this dynamic change. To that end, we value the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and we work in our capacity in trying to achieve them.
