Almoayed Technologies is an open banking, fintech and digital infrastructure provider, serving governments and banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain and across the MENA region. In early 2018, Almoayed Technologies was the first company to enter the Central Bank of Bahrain’s regulatory sandbox. Here it began connecting Bahraini banks for account aggregation in a live proof-of-concept environment, to prepare them for the onset of open banking regulations. By December 2018, as open banking adoption for Bahraini retail banks was mandated, it was the first company to graduate from the regulatory sandbox and has subsequently launched Tarabut Gateway, the first licenced open banking PISP/AISP in the MENA region.
