At ALP (alternative learning project) we believe that education can help individuals achieve their full potential regardless of their ability. It’s what we stand for at ALP and why we are here. This belief drives us to be so passionate about the work we do with our learners and it is why our dynamic and bespoke approach works for so many disengaged and vulnerable young people. We create flexible, individualised programmes of learning support for children and young people who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to access mainstream education. From the point of referral, we focus on the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) of the learner and family support, to provide the most effective and appropriate educational intervention. At ALP (Alternative Learning Project), we embrace the belief that education holds the power to unlock the full potential of individuals, regardless of their abilities. This principle is the cornerstone of our mission at ALP and fuels our unwavering passion for the work we undertake with our learners. Our dynamic and personalized approach has proven highly effective for many disengaged and vulnerable young people. ALP Schools is dedicated to crafting adaptable, individualized learning programs for children and young individuals facing challenges that hinder their access to mainstream education. From the moment of referral, we prioritize addressing the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) of each learner, providing comprehensive family support and delivering the most suitable and effective educational interventions. Collaborating closely with Local Authorities, Behavior Partnerships, and local schools/academies, we tailor our outcomes to align with the unique needs of each learner. Our specialisation extends to emergency, short-term, medium-term, and long-term education placements for young people with SEND, encompassing conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Behavioral Difficulties, and more.
