Alpha Astrum

Alpha Astrum is a non-profit student association at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus composed of a multidisciplinary team of engineering students. Our mission is to develop talented students professionally via the collaborative efforts of designing, building and launching experimental high-powered rockets and participating in prestigious rocketry competitions such as NASA Student Launch and Spaceport America Cup. We aim to provide valuable hands-on real engineering experience to our members and raise awareness of the aerospace industry in Puerto Rico.
