AlphaFlo® is a liquid, acellular, canine amniotic tissue allograft comprised of amnion intended to supplement and protect tissues. AlphaFlo® contains key growth factors, cytokines, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, and extracellular matrix proteins recognized as intrinsic to the complex tissue healing process. Amnion is a rich source of biologically active factors involved in tissue regeneration, with reported anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, re-epithelialization, and anti-fibrotic properties. AlphaFlo® is manufactured aseptically, following cGTP guidelines and is supplied cryopreserved in three different volumes: 0.5 cc, 1.0 cc, and 2.0 cc. The product is stored frozen at -80˚C +/- 15˚C with a 2-year shelf life or at -20˚C +/- 2˚C for up to 6 months. AlphaFlo® is enjoying increasing interest and use among veterinarians and owners as a superior alternative to autologous and other therapies.
