AlphaXearch is a student-led, knowledge-based startup providing research, analytics and advisory services. We are based in New Delhi and our founders are students of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. They are ambitious, determined students with a consistent academic record and a zeal for learning. Their vision behind starting AlphaXearch is to instil a sense of academic appreciation and a love for research among the undergraduate and high school students within their limited academic capabilities.
AlphaXearch was started as an idea which identified that the student community isn't oriented to academia and research, and even if they are, they do not have the required skills and resources to conduct research. So we came up with a service that aids and orients students at high school and undergraduate level (ages 16-21) towards investigating pertinent questions and finding their answers.
We, at AlphaXearch believe that a students professional and career-centric outlook starts with their high school years, specifically grade 11th, when they make a choice of the stream in which they wish to pursue their careers. But most often, students aren't trained to appreciate the academic capabilities that the disciplines they choose from entail, but rather are lured by their peers and familial pressure.
We believe that students must be exposed to the multitude of academic opportunities and be trained, or at least accustomed to investigating the scope of their disciplines and their applications in the problems facing the real world. Eg: a student pursuing Humanities with mathematics, considering a future in economics, must be acquainted to the world of economics and the challenges that the discipline entails, or a student pursuing commerce and planning to major in business studies must understand the scope of his discipline in the professional spectrum, like undertaking market research, consumer research, etc.
