The Alrijne Wound Center provides multidisciplinary care for patients with complex wounds since 2006. Our care includes venous, arterial, diabetic, systemic and dermatological ulcers. The key of our treatment protocol is to evaluate all etiological factors and treat them accordingly. Our team includes wound physicians, wound nurses, orthopedic, reconstructive and vascular surgeons, dermatologists, Infectious disease specialists, endocrinologists, medical microbiologist, interventional radiologist, podiatrist, orthotic specialist, orthopedic cast technicians, podologists and general internal physicians. In addition to diagnostics and treatment, we are committed to scientific research. Several scientific studies are ongoing and several PhD candidates are affiliated with the Alrijne Woundcare Center.
