The IKEA Brand was born 70 years ago in Sweden and it has been developing ever since. Last year 775 million visitors were welcomed by 151,000 co-workers in 345 IKEA stores in 42 different countries. IKEA’s vision is “to create a better everyday life for the many people” with a business idea: "to offer a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them." IKEA Saudi Arabia opened the first showroom in 1983 in Jeddah, 30 years later 3 stores operating with 1200 co-workers.
