Our vision is to invest patient, flexible and strategic capital into catalytic business models across rising growth markets. We look to build lasting partnerships and to align expectations with the partners with whom we invest. Because of our unique group of shareholders we take a family-based approach to investing. Our goal is to create a global network of like-minded investors, who where appropriate, are able to take a longer view when it comes to investments in frontier markets. Our vision is founded on the thesis that growth, and super-returns take time which, we feel is a handicap in the traditional private equity fund structure. Flexible Approach: Investing successfully in frontier markets requires a flexible mindset, when it comes to not only time horizon but capital structure and the perception and understanding of risk. As such we structure our investments to both maximize returns but also to provide material downside protection to our investors, where appropriate. Strategic Capital: Our shareholder-base and advisory board allow us a direct line into the decision-makers at several large strategic and allow us to engage with these corporates as joint-venture partners where appropriate. Where possible, we will always bring alongside us a strategic partner with experience working in the industry of interest. We believe this is a key differentiating factor to being asked to create exceptional returns for our investor base.
