Altec Italia srl was founded in May 1987 by a team of entrepreneurs, importing and distributing a French system, called DES, for the electronic treatment of limestone in Italy. The continuous attention to industrial needs has allowed us to put in support of DES systems, other realities of high quality products, satisfying the demands of different industrial sectors.
In 1997 an exclusive distribution contract was signed for Italy with the Austrian company EnveGroup GmbH, becoming in a few years the first supplier of the Italian market, counting the largest groups and photo laboratories in its customers. The dynamism of the company and its sensitivity towards changes in the market, allowed it to enrich the range of products and to propose itself in the vast 3d cutting range of hot wire polystyrene, with different types of cutting systems, produced by the Megaplot company .
In a short time, Altec Italia becomes the exclusive Megaplot distributor for the national territory, for the southern European market, the Mediterranean basin, Iran and South America.
In recent years Altec Italia has further enriched the range of cnc machines, with new models of milling machines and laser engravers.
