About Alteva
Our team is building a sustainable future for humanity in which nature and our technologically advanced and equitable society thrive in unison. To enable that future, we are decarbonizing the global transportation sector. Alteva is using technology developed at the German Aerospace Center, to develop and commercialize ultralight batteries made from abundant and sustainable raw materials. Our batteries are significantly lighter, safer, and cheaper than what is currently being used for electric vehicles. Therefore, for the first time, we can offer energy storage solutions for electrified airplanes, heavy-duty trucks, construction and mining applications, and agricultural vehicles. We are targeting markets that, together, represent about 8 - 10 Gt of annual greenhouse gas emissions.
