Althorp Estate

Althorp House is a Grade I listed building set within 13,000-acre estate six miles northwest of Northampton. The estate has been owned by the Spencer family since 1508. The current mansion house dates from 1688 with later alterations and additions. The Spencer family have amassed England’s finest art and furniture collection set amongst distinctive interiors from every century of ownership, along with beautiful parklands, walled garden and on-going projects focusing on bio-diverse and organic approaches to their glorious gardens.
