Founded in 1981 in İskenderun, Hatay, Altun Gıda is one of Turkey’s leading exporters of fresh fruit
and vegetables. Empowered by our family values and guided by an innovative vision, we have
secured a strong position in global markets, confidently delivering our 100% Global GAP-certified
products to major retail chains across Europe, North America, the Middle East, the Far East, and
Africa.
Across our 3,400-decare production area, we employ advanced agricultural technologies to achieve
high-quality standards. From field to fork, we manage every stage of our supply chain with
meticulous care. In addition to our production facilities and contracted growers in Turkey, our wholly
owned Romanian subsidiary, SC Unifrutti, serves as a supply hub, ensuring uninterrupted distribution
throughout Europe. Meanwhile, our strategic procurement network in Africa, Asia, and South
America enables us to meet customer demand with fresh produce year-round.
In 2024, we invested in a cutting-edge packaging line at our facility in Hatay. Featuring a 12-line, AI-
assisted system equipped with 108 cameras, this technology allows us to conduct quality control
with maximum precision. Our production plant, fitted with robotic casting, infrared scanning, and
automated packaging systems, enables contact-free packaging to preserve product freshness and
quality at the highest level. This setup also enhances operational efficiency by reducing energy
consumption and saving time.
Sustainability is at the core of our business. We operate all our facilities using 100% solar energy,
reflecting our commitment to environmentally responsible practices. With infrastructure aligned to
EU standards and continuous investment in renewable energy, we are steadily advancing this
mission.
