About Alushapes

AluShapes is a privately owned Australian aluminium extruder, formed as a green field start-up near Gosford NSW in 1998, well located to supply the main demand centres from Brisbane to Melbourne. With 5,500sqm of factory space, AluShapes has evolved from a niche, small profile extruder to its current 7 ins short-stroke press operation. Alushapes currently produces around 1500 tpa of extrusion up to 230mm cc, and retains its niche position in Australia specialising in micro-extrusions. AluShapes is the only domestic manufacturer of micro-extrusions of which flyscreen frame profiles are the dominant product. The operation currently employs 35+ personnel and its its underutilised capacity is being ramped up to 3000 tpa extrusion output.
