Al Waha Venture Capital Fund of Funds “Al Waha Fund” is a $100 million Venture Capital Fund of Funds aims at building the venture capital capability and creating access to funding ultimately boosting the start-up ecosystem in the MENA region. The Al Waha Fund will primarily seek to invest in Venture Capital funds (VCs) that will invest directly in MENA region companies at seed, early, and growth stages of funding and/or can provide strategic impact through their expertise and network. With a sector focus on Technology, Fintech, and Smart Cities, Al Waha Fund aims to encourage companies to flourish by supporting venture capital investors and bring Bahrain and the region at the forefront of global technological advances making it a hub for VCs, startups and technology companies. The Fund has a unique platform granting access to its portfolio of venture capital managers and limited partners to value propositions that include access to the eco-system support in Bahrain, partnership opportunities, and network.
