Alydaar Software

Alydaar Software was an IT Services company specializing in the remediation of Y2K related computer code issue, across many programming languages, including (but not limited to) PL/1, FORTRAN, and COBOL, and database languages like SQL and CICS. Originally located in the Esplanade building on Rexford Road in the Southpark area of Charlotte, NC, they moved around the corner to the Rotunda Building, and then eventually to a newly constructed building in Morrocoft, allowing them to remain in the Southpark area. Alydaar employees processed and remediated over a billion lines of code for companies around the globe, including banks, power companies, airlines, and many other industries. The manageable impact of the Y2K bug was largely in part due to people like this who worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition into the new millennium.
