ALZET, LLC has pioneered drug delivery technology for basic research. Since its development in the 1970s, the ALZET Pump has set the standard for controlled drug delivery in preclinical research. Decades later, it remains the premier tool for precise drug dosing. Over time, the product line has expanded to include a second implantable pump technology, along with a variety of supporting products. Today, ALZET Pumps have been used in over 22,000 publications. The product line has expanded to include 12 pump models along with various accessories which enable either systemic delivery or targeted delivery of compounds to discrete sites within the animal.
