Established in 2022, Am Someone’s Hope is a registered community organization dedicated to inspiring underserved communities to improve their schools, environment, & society through impactful initiatives using locally available resources and skills. Key Focus Areas: Education & inclusion. - Enhancing Learning Environments: Manufacturing school desks, blackboards, library shelves, & school office furniture - Creating wooden mobility aids for pupils, teachers, & community members with physical impairments. - Providing carpentry training for persons with disabilities, school dropouts, & marginalized groups to promote self-reliance & income generation - Strengthening ties between schools & communities to foster sustainable development initiatives. - Optimizing local resources for the benefit of children & persons with disabilities. - Teaching girls to produce reusable sanitary pads, promoting menstrual health. - Planting trees to clean the air, provide shade, support wildlife, prevent soil erosion, reduce heat, & enhance the school’s appearance. Our programs educate pupils on the importance of preserving the school environment. Target Groups: - Underserved remote schools and communities - Primary school children - Marginalized teenagers and groups - Elementary school girls - Persons with disabilities - Teachers and educators - Community members Recognized by local administrative leaders, Ash Foundation has achieved measurable success in the past 2 & a half years & aims to expand its impact. The mission is to improve education quality & bridge social & economic gaps, benefiting the less advantaged. Despite being a young organization, significant progress has been made in several communities in Nakasongola District. The foundation seeks support to continue its mission of empowerment, educational improvement, & building a more inclusive & sustainable future.
